Get in Touch

You know how a platform recommends similar products when you view or buy a product online?

And if the products are something you want, you’re happy. But if they’re not, you’re annoyed with the platform.

Well, today, we want to be like those online shopping platforms.

The only difference being you didn’t actually purchase a product from us. Your only crime is visiting our blog and reading this post.

Thank you for that, by the way. We really appreciate your support.

And as is always our hope whenever we share a resource for the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), we hope you’ll find these recommendations helpful in your sensitive journey.

Let’s dive in.

2 Books, a Free Masterclass, a Community, and a Course

HSP Resources to try out - our February 2023 recommendations

The Two Books

1. Sensitive by Jenn Granneman and Andre Sólo

Sensitive Book by Jenn Granneman and Andre Solo

Jenn Granneman is the founder of Introvert, Dear, co-founder of Highly Sensitive Refuge, and author of The Secret Lives of Introverts: Inside Our Hidden World.

And together with Andre Sólo – the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Highly Sensitive Refuge, Jenn has co-authored a new book titled Sensitive: The Hidden Power of the Highly Sensitive Person in a Loud, Fast, Too-Much World.

The book is set for release on February 28, 2023, 10 days from today. But you can still pre-order today and get it when it launches.

2. Bittersweet by Susan Cain

Bittersweet book by Susan Cain of Quiet

If you are part of the 70% of HSPs who are also introverts, you have probably read this book. And if you haven’t, you probably know of it and are planning to get yourself a copy.

Bittersweet: How Sorrow and Longing Make Us Whole isn’t a new release. In fact, it was launched in April last year and is Susan Cain’s latest book.

But the recent selection of Bittersweet as Oprah’s next pick for her book club has reminded us that we never got to share it here.

So if you are yet to read it, this may be the best time to get a copy.

Susan Cain is the bestselling author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking. And now, in Bittersweet, she is revealing how acknowledging and embracing sorrow can bring us closer as humanity.

The Free Class

Free HSP Masterclass on High Sensitivity and Anxiety

If you’ve been keeping up with us on the blog or Instagram, then you know we have been all about Anxiety and the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).

And if you read our last newsletter, you know we shared six reasons why Anxiety is high in Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), according to Julie Bjelland – an HSP Psychotherapist.

So today, we’d like to close that Anxiety chapter by sharing this free class about High Sensitivity and Anxiety.

Because while we can spend days sharing what we learned, only you can decide what to take away from the free class.

Register today to learn more about reducing Anxiety in your life as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP).

The Community

The HSP Revolution Membership Community by Dr. Genevieve Von Lob

We recently found our way to a membership community for HSPs that we believe you will love. It’s not a new community, and you’re probably a member. But if you are yet to hear about it, this entry is for you.

Meet The HSP Revolution, an online membership community by Dr Genevieve von Lob – a Clinical Psychologist, Conscious Parenting Coach, and the author of Happy Parent, Happy Child: 10 Steps to Stress-Free Family Life.

The community supports Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) to overcome their challenges, own their gifts and find inspiration in the company of others on the same journey.

Joining the community will give you access to the following:

  • Two live Q+A HSP workshops per month with Dr Genevieve and special guests.
  • Access to all recordings.
  • Weekly inspiration, tips and challenges – and surprises.
  • Access to a community hub for connection and discussion.
  • Members-only newsletter (hosted here on Substack)
  • Priority registration for retreats, courses and special events.

Visit The HSP Revolution website to learn more.

The HSP Course

HSP Brain Training Online Course by Julie Bjelland

You know how the brain is another part of your body that you can train to do what you want?

And that with repetitive exercises, you can tone the brain into submission just as you would your abs and thighs? And with remarkable results to boot?

That’s what the HSP Brain Training online course does.

This 8-week online program is so effective in helping HSPs reduce Anxiety long-term that people start to see results in the first two weeks.

It shares various techniques to help Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) reduce Anxiety and overwhelming emotions.

So if you are struggling with Anxiety, we highly recommend this HSP Brain Training course.

And that ends our February 2023 recommendations.
