To introduce you to the Self-Love December challenge, let’s first talk about the month.

December is a time when many people focus on making other people happy. It’s a time of gift-giving because of Christmas and New Year holidays. And it’s when we spend every waking day wondering how best to show the loved ones we genuinely love them.

Even though they already know we do.

But what if you could change that?

What if you can make December the month you focus on yourself? The month you look inwards instead of outwards. And the month you focus on showing yourself how much you appreciate and love yourself.Enter Self-Love December.

Self-Love is the act of showing appreciation, compassion, kindness, and regard for yourself. It’s putting your happiness, health, and well-being first before doing the same for others.

And as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), self-love also means accepting your HSP trait and learning to love yourself as you are.

So, throughout December 2022, HSP Tools will share practical tips, tools, and resources about self-love. These are to help you learn the following:

What to Expect in Self-Love December

Today, December 1st 2022, marks the first day of self-love December. And this post is the introduction to 30 days of self-love articles on HSP Tools.

So the following is what you can expect from us in December.

In our experience, developing self-love requires three main components:

  • Self-Awareness
  • Self-Acceptance
  • Self-Forgiveness

And so the first three weeks of Self-Love December will focus on these three areas. And the last week will be all about self-love.

  • Week One – Six articles and one ultimate guide on Self-Awareness
  • Week Two – Six posts and one ultimate guide on Self-Acceptance
  • Week Three – Six blog posts and one ultimate guide on Self-Forgiveness
  • Week Four – Six posts and one ultimate guide on Self-Love

That makes a total of 28 articles helping you develop and maintain self-love. These articles will either be quick tips or lists of helpful HSP resources.

And there will be two bonus self-love articles to make the series of 30 posts complete.
